I was tasked with creating the custom design, branding, marketing, and projection illustration for the musical production of Pirates of Penzance.
I designed a unique logo inspired by the adventurous tone and Victorian setting of the musical, incorporating nautical motifs and vintage typography that echo the production's timeless charm.
The primary advertising illustration was centered on the poster, featuring a dynamic scene with the Pirate King, standing stoically and larger than life, reflecting the play's adventurous spirit and comedic flair.
The program design blended maritime elements with character photography, stage imagery, and hand-drawn details. This approach tied in seamlessly with the production's themes and offered audiences a visual narrative to complement the show.
Additionally, I created custom projection illustration backgrounds to depict key scenes and settings, emphasizing the coastal atmosphere of the story.
These designs were utilized across marketing materials, including social media campaigns, digital displays, and local newspaper advertisements, ensuring cohesive branding for the production.
